The House on the Lake

For this villa, we designed the living, dining, and kitchen areas as an open, calm space for everyday life. The concept combines clear architecture, high-quality materials, and a restrained color palette into an elegant overall composition that blends harmoniously with the home’s natural surroundings.

The house is set on a generous plot with a small artificial pond in front of it. This distinctive setting was an important starting point for the design concept: Large window surfaces open the interior to the landscape and create fluid transitions between nature and living space. As a result, the view of the greenery becomes an integral part of the spatial experience.

In the living area, a soft, spacious sofa arrangement creates comfort and ease, while refined surfaces, dark wood, and subtle natural tones add depth and warmth. Sculptural light fixtures provide targeted accents and emphasize the interior’s homely yet contemporary character. The kitchen and dining area consistently carry this language forward, combining functionality with a clear, high-end aesthetic.

The result is a restrained yet expressive interior that balances calm, exclusivity, and a strong connection to nature.
